Edit Sihlberg
Edit Sihlberg (b. 1989) is a Swedish artist, based in Stockholm. Sihlberg graduated from the Royal Institute of Art in 2022. She received the Hilding Lindqvist Scholarship, Anna-Lisa Thomson Scholarship with a scholarship exhibition at Uppsala Art Museum the same year. Her work has been presented in several institutional group exhibitions; Sparks of Joy at Körsbärsgården, Art on the Road at the Public Art Agency of Sweden and I Follow the Sun at Artipelag in 2024.
Sihlberg's visual language concedes the Still Life – infused with a sense of voyeurism, movement and energy. Passage of time, recurring symbols and the juxtaposition of the artist's gaze relate to the art historical traditions of Impressionism and Swedish Modernism.
Edit Sihlberg presents her first solo exhibition at the gallery in Spring 2025
