SASKIA NEUMAN GALLERY

Objekta – Hans Olof Abrahamsson

The exhibition is the first presentation in the gallery's project space.

Objekta comprises of a series of 15 intricate small metal sculptures and three mobiles, ranging in a monochromatic color scheme, which harks back to the hues employed by architects Le Corbusier, Jean Prouvé and Gerrit Rietveld. Abrahamsson’s delicate miniatures remind us of studies into the world of artists such as Alexander Calder and Piet Mondrian while keeping a distinct distance from concepts of modernism within context of visual art.
